It seems a bit early to be saying it but yes, the daffodils really are starting to come up, so it’s time to welcome you to our Spring newsletter! We know that lots of you have struggled with pain in the last few months as a result of being confined to bed with a whole host of horrid winter afflictions. But fingers crossed, at last the flu and sickness season is nearly over and we can start to take advantage of the lighter evenings! And remember, if you are still suffering from aches and pains, relief could be as simple as a quick visit to us, so don’t go on suffering in silence!
What’s going on that you need to know?
This month it’s all about taking care of yourself.
March is National Nutrition Month which yes, believe it or not is really relevant to you, if you have any sort of aches or pains. At MSO we often discuss nutrition with you because it so important to health and well-being, especially when it comes to backs, back pain and keeping backs healthy. Particular food groups are essential for making sure your spine is in good shape such as calcium, vitamins A, B12, C, D and K as well as iron and magnesium. You can find out lots more at the National Nutrition Month website.
With the warmer weather, lots of you will be getting outside more, whether that’s to make a start on the gardening or to go for that run, that game of tennis or that gym session. And that makes March a really important month for taking stock of your health and especially your back. So why not make sure you start the spring in the best possible shape and reduce the risk of problems by having an osteopathic check up with us. You can call us today on 01444 360359 to book your appointment.
So what’s been happening here at the clinic?
A new look with you in mind.
The past few months have seen a redesign of the website and we’d love to know what you think of our new look. It’s been designed with you in mind so it’s mobile friendly and will have regular blog posts on a range of issues that you’ll find both helpful and interesting too. We’ll be writing about everything from headaches and neck pain all the way down to issues with your feet. Along the way, we’ll also cover ergonomics, choosing the right bed and stretching exercises. We’d like you to treat it as your online resource and if there are any subjects you’d like to know more about, then please let us know on our Facebook page or drop us an email.
In other clinic news, due to demand, we’ve added a new clinic on Wednesday evenings. This means we are now offering evening clinics three days a week as well as Saturday mornings. The Wednesday evening clinic is with Adam Wilson who joined us last year. We’ve had great feedback from you about Adam and he’s well and truly part of the team.
Talking of feedback, everybody loves testimonials and our new clients often report how reviews by you, our current customers are really helpful. We know you’re busy but we’d really appreciate it if you’d take a few moments to leave us some feedback. And by way of a thank you, we’ll give you a 20% discount when you book your next treatment. We’ve made it easy – just find and like us on Facebook and go to the review section. Or if you’re not a Facebook fan, just email us your review and we’ll do the rest.
What’s more, we’ll also give you a 20% discount if you refer someone who books an appointment with us, so please feel free to share this newsletter, our blogs and your experience of us with your friends and family to help spread the word.
And finally
Whatever you have planned for the next few months, the chances are you’ll be getting more active than you have been during the winter. So don’t forget to take care as you hit the weeding or dust off your fitness gear. And if you do find yourself with any aches or pains, remember that the quicker you seek help, the sooner you’ll be on the path to recovery. Just call us on 01444 360359 to book an appointment or if you need any help or advice.
Until next time.
Adam and the team at MSO
