Yikes! We’re well into December already and I wouldn’t mind betting your to-do list is as long as mine, so I’ll keep this brief! But busy as you are, do stick around because I’ve got a great stocking filler idea for you, a discount opportunity off a treatment in the New Year and a little bit of news.
Balls!
Looking for stocking fillers? Try this set of 3 massage balls which are perfect for treating aches, pains and discomfort in the upper back and shoulders. Position the balls between the part of your body that you want to work on and a hard service like the wall or floor and then use your body weight to press into those troublesome knots. Over time, this can diminish them in size, pain intensity or hopefully both and on Christmas day after a few festive drinks, you may even find that rolling up the wall with them will liven up even the dullest Queen’s speech.
Round up of the year
As ever, it’s been a busy year in clinic. Adam Wilson, our other osteopath, is now a firm fixture and offers appointments through the week including Saturday mornings. He’s recently had specialist training in how osteopathy can help pregnant women deal with the weight-bearing demands of pregnancy, reducing pain and discomfort and getting the body working at its best for the months ahead. If you haven’t met him yet, or if you’re pregnant or enjoying your new born, do contact us to see if he can help with those aches and pains. He might just make your life a little bit easier.

We launched a new website earlier this year which has had great feedback. It’s regularly updated with news and posts that might be of interest to you so have a look. Recent blog posts include how osteopathy can help in pregnancy and the issue of improving your posture at work to minimise the demands on your upper back and neck. We love getting feedback and if you have a topic you’d like us to cover, just drop us a line.
Would you like a discount off your next treatment?
We’ve had some lovely reviews from people on our Facebook page and new website and now we’d love to get some on Google too. So we’d be really grateful if you could spend just a minute or two leaving us a review. All you have to do is click on this link, then click ‘leave review’ and by way of a thank you and a Christmas present we’ll offer you 20% off of your next treatment. For those that have previously left reviews on Facebook and the website, you can just copy and paste your previous review onto Google and still benefit from this offer!
And be careful out there
Unfortunately, New Year is often a time when people can injure themselves and need our help – wet, icy conditions, snow shovelling and New Year resolutions to hit the gym can see phone calls to the clinic increase! So take care out there, don’t overdo it but have a wonderful Christmas, a prosperous new year and just give us a call, if you find yourself in pain.
